Oysters on the half shell? Not quite - but carpenter oysters galore! This is our proprietary blend of crushed oyster shells and loam balanced for speed and compacted for a proper roll. There are crushed stone options, decomposed granite, clay materials and many others. Only the classic oyster shell system gives you the speed, drainage, and control your fellow bocce players will admire and enjoy for years. Our typical surface will have approximately 3" of our mix applied in lifts, hydrated and compacted to about 90%. We then complete the installation with a dusting of oyster shell flour.
