Our Bocce Ball installations are divided into a number of construction categories and pricing schedules. First, the physical location of the court on a specific property will be a factor as well as the location across the country or around the world. Although we are based in the San Francisco Bay Area, we have crews standing by to pack up and hit the road whether it's in Sonoma County or the South of France.

The first element of pricing will come from the type of court construction contemplated. The least expensive bocce court construction model would be a beam on beam installation where we would use either two 6" x 8" beams (or other dimensions), drill them and anchor in place. The excavation and depth of drain field would affect cost as well as any off-haul required and location of court relative to the access point. Fairly similar in price would be a post and beam installation. Again, pricing would be dependent on the size of the posts and beams and the excavation and drain systems required. After those parts are complete, the base materials and oyster shell blend mix would be installed. Most courts in this category average between $18k-$27k

Our bocce court of choice and the one with the most authentic play is the concrete border and bumper board system. This is a few notches up on the quality and cost side, but well worth the added expense. Once again, the final court placement, site preparation, correct drainage and thickness of layered materials will all be a factor in determining the final cost of the installation. These courts typically range in our local region between $23k-$35k depending on size.

Our turf systems can be used in both of the above construction systems and will naturally be more expensive with a concrete base and border. Turf has come a long way and the turf of today really feels and plays like a finely cut lawn.

The most expensive and elaborate installation would involve our concrete base, concrete wall and board with a high profile “cast in place” synthetic surface system. These courts can start at $50,000 and go up from there. It's definitely not the court for everyone, but offers some added benefits in windy areas, commercial settings and for those looking for the official construction system used by many competitive clubs and members of the World Bocce Federation.

In summary, pricing has quite a range. We also ship our bocce blends worldwide. They can be ordered in bags for easy shipping to your destination. Plans and specifications are not available for our construction systems. However, we do work with other contractors on the placement of our proprietary bocce blends.
